Parking
Parking is readily available directly outside the venue, and in the main Sorrento village carpark, below the main shopping strip, off Morce Avenue and George Street.

SPECIAL SATURDAY NIGHT EVENTS
Shows start at 8pm. Venue opens from 5pm to 10pm.
Happy Hour at the RSL (Jack’s bar & Lounge and The Terrace) from 5pm to 6pm.
Dinner and Show packages available for special shows, courtesy of The Kitchen Sorrento, starting at the ticketed times. Bar food and snacks, courtesy of The Kitchen Sorrento, available from 5pm for the duration of the show.
Sorrento Thai restaurant opens from 5pm to 9pm. Bookings recommended.
REGULAR SUNDAY AFTERNOON LIVE MUSIC SHOWS
Shows start at 4pm. Venue opens from 4pm to 7pm.
Dining opens at 5pm for bar food and snacks courtesy of Sorrento Thai, for the duration of the show.
If you would prefer to dine within Sorrento Thai restaurant, adjoining the concert venue, Sorrento Thai opens from 5pm to 9pm. Bookings recommended.

NB Sorrento Portsea RSL and Tom Katz are volunteer-run organisations and we try to be as flexible as possible in accommodating changing circumstances, especially during the peak summer months and other busy times of the year.
However, the timings above may change from time to time, and we urge you to double-check your ticket details and booking details.

Where is TomKatz?

What nights are you open?
TomKatz is open whenever a show is on. See Home for upcoming events.
What time do the shows start?
Evening performances: Dining opens at 6:00 and closes at 9:00. Shows begin at 8:00 and the venue closes before 12:00 midnight. Timing is subject to change. Please consult the booking information for each show.
Afternoon performances: Doors open after 3:00pm, shows run from around 4:00-7:00 and the venue closes at 9:00 pm.
Can you purchase tickets at the door?
Tickets for ALL shows are available via TryBooking, please see Home for details. There may be tickets available at the door for some events, but we recommend booking tickets (even for free events) to avoid disappointment.
Do online bookings include seating?
Yes, your online booking secures you seating to the show at a table. We recommend you arrive half an hour before showtime to be seated.
Do you serve food?
Bar snacks are available at Tom Katz shows.
Full meals are available at Sorrento Thai between 5 and 9pm Thurs-Sunday and bookings are essential. See Food for details.
Do you have a bar?
Yes, don't forget to show your RSL membership card for discounts on your drinks.
Do you have disabled access?
Yes, TomKatz, Sorrento Thai and the Sorrento Portsea RSL are accessible to all.
Do you have Eftpos?
Yes.
Is there a dress code?
Smart casual (no beach wear).
Do I need to be an RSL member to attend a show?
No, but you will need to sign in at the door. If you choose to become an RSL member to take advantage of savings on drinks, our volunteer staff can join you up on the spot.
How can I get a gig at TomKatz?
We listen to all submissions and if we think your band would suit our venue we will be in touch. Just email us your press kit and a video link to a live performance.
