Bram featuring Chris Stockley
In the beginning (way back in 1969) there was Spectrum, and in those days Spectrum was a Very Serious Band. When Spectrum’s alter-ego, The Indelible Murtceps, was created in 1970, suddenly fun and dancing became the order of the day. Murtceps (Spectrum backwards) even produced an album called Warts Up Your Nose from which the cheeky single Esmeralda was lifted – and The Indelible Murtceps became a legitimate contender for the crown. Despite this success Spectrum continued to use Murtceps as their support band, never giving them the kudos they felt they deserved.
